Welcome to "Pike Watch"
Here we are doing what we can to make things better for the pike, we encourage, where possible for anglers to use single rather than treble hooks. Some of our members are testing, what we call the Tagging System and reporting our findings here on these pages, in the hope that we can encourage treble users over to what we feel is a more pike friendly, method. We also want to help educate anglers so they know how to handle pike better on the bank, so less damage is done. We appreciate that the PAC has done a huge amount for pike conservation but not all anglers that fish for pike are in the PAC so this is a forum that anyone can come and join, free of charge and learn about better pike conservation. With the help of our members we have put together the ‘PIKEWATCH FISHERY RULES’ in the hope that as many pike fisheries will adopt the rules to help protect the fish. Please feel free to ask any questions you like on the forum regarding Pike fishing or pike conservation and our members will be only to pleased to help – Tight Lines …Craig Winter ===========================================
